Avix Soother Spray
Patented quaternary ammonium suspended in aloe vera distillate and water for topical pain relief. Can assist with pain relief through the analgesic properties.
The spray allows it to be used on large areas or with difficult to handle patients where ointments or creams would not be suitable.Use of the Soother Spray has been shown to assist feather pluckers by hydrating the skin and feathers, and improving their condition, and offering pain relief to the affected areas.
The bird is therefore less discomforted by the area, and is less aware of it, and the need to 'scratch the itch' is reduced.
Whilst not being a cure to the underlying issue, the use of Soother Spray has, in many instances, helped improve the condition of a 'plucker'.

Simply scatter the powder over the food. Some aviculturists like to use Avimix in a pepper pot, this works well. Careless use leaves some food with a lot, and some with a little, which permits birds to avoid it. We recommend using it every day, that way birds get used to it being there.
